The Chinese street fashion trend was started on an app called Douyin, which is the Chinese version of TikTok. It became such a big trend that people started reposting these videos over on Tiktok. The fashionistas walk down the streets while their confidence radiates through the screen as if they were models walking down a runway. Many fans of these videos started wondering how the videos are made. They wondered if they were deliberately modeling for the camera or if they were candid shots of random people off the streets.
