Terminal Trends: The Ultimate Guide on Mastering the Airport Look

Preparing for your next vacation can evoke a mix of excitement and anticipation,

coupled with moments of tension and challenge. With the spring season just around the

corner; here are some tips and tricks on how to master the look of being chic while being comfy!

1. Hats/Baseball Caps

Wearing a hat is a great way for days where you do not feel like doing your hair. Hats cover up

your flyaways and frizziness. They cover up the issue and allow for something more interesting

on the bottom half of your hair. For example, leaving your hair down, braids, bun, or throwing it

in a ponytail. The best part is that it does not need to be perfect. It is also great for naps on the

flight where you do not need to worry about getting your hair messed up! If you are like me, 99%

of the time, I need to be in an airport at 5:00 AM which means I need to wake up at 3:00 AM to

get ready and drive there. If you are going to a sunny island; that is one less item in your bag,

which means more room for other essentials! Hats spice up your outfits while being effortless.

2. Layers with tank-tops & long sleeves

Airports always fluctuate with temperatures. You wake up and it is cold but when you go in the

airport, it is hot, or vice versa. Whatever the situation is, wearing layers is the best way to

ensure comfort in any case. My essentials are always a tank top when I am going somewhere

sunny and a long-sleeved shirt when it is more on the chilly side. I also love to wear them under

hoodies because the weather immediately changes when I land in my destination! It will be 33

degrees in Philadelphia but it will be 99 degrees in Turks and Caicos, for example. It is

important to wear a couple layers so you can be ready for any scenario!

3. Hoodies

Hoodies are essentials!! Crewnecks are nice but hoodies are better because you can always

cover your head. They are so comfortable, you will never regret bringing one along on your

travels. I do not know about you guys but every time I went to an airport; I always came in a

hoodie. It gives you extra warmth while also being able to take it off if you are too hot. Another

way to spice up hoodies is to wear a matching sweat! From brands like Juicy Couture to Pink;

matching sets are never set up for failure. Hoodies are definitely a staple when it comes to

traveling.

4. Sweatpants

(Gymshark Website, Training Fleece Joggers)

Sweatpants are great because you can alway wear shorts underneath! Like I stated prior;

coming from a cold place to a warm place can be uncomfortable when walking out of the

airplane and already feeling the humidity. Having shorts underneath helps the feeling of

matching the energy with the weather! Leggings are great as well but sweatpants just always

hit the spot. The best thing about sweatpants is that they are loose. Wearing loose clothing

always feels like wearing clouds on your body. What better way to walk in an airport!

5. Headphones

(Apple Website, Space Grey Airpods Max)

Bringing a pair of headphones is an excellent way to escape the hustle and bustle of the world

and immerse yourself in your own space. If you're anything like me, airports can be

overwhelming with their large crowds. Headphones are a great way to stay relaxed. You can

listen to podcasts, or your favorite artists newest album.

You have officially made it to the end of the guide! I hope you take this information and

create your most fantastic and comfy outfit!
