Artwork by @psychic_heart

Are you experimenting with your style? Or maybe you want to try a new style but are unsure of

which direction to go? Or are you just interested in fashion and astrology and curious about what

your natal chart can suggest for your personal style?! You should look at your Venus sign; this

mini-guide might help you. Venus is the planet of love, beauty, and aesthetics. It's also the planet

that rules our fashion sense and personal style. Our Venus sign can tell us a lot about our

personal fashion expression.

Please keep in mind that this mini-guide is based on only one aspect of the natal chart and might

not resonate with your style and the way you express yourself, but it is still an exciting way to

learn about style and consider experimenting with it.

How to figure out your Venus sign

To find your Venus sign, you have to know your birth date, time, and location. You can always

check the “Unknown time” button if you don't know your birth time or are unsure. You can then

generate your natal chart with an online birth chart calculator. Your natal chart is a map of the

planets in the sky at the exact time and place you were born. It shows the positions of all the

planets, including Venus.

Websites to generate your Natal Chart:

https://astro.cafeastrology.com/natal.php

https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/birth-chart-horoscope-online

https://astro-charts.com/

or any other website with a natal chart generator. If you use Co-Star, the Pattern, or any other astrological app, you can also find Venus sign there.

Once you have your natal chart, you can look up your Venus sign. Venus can be in any of the 12

zodiac signs, so your Venus sign will be one of the following: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer,

Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces.

In this article, I am going to be covering Aries, Taurus, and Gemini Venuses. If your Venus is

not one of those, please look out for future articles.

♈Aries Venus

People with Aries venuses are often seen as confident, bold, passionate, and eye-catching. To

talk about Aries Venus style, I am going to divide it into two categories (even though I feel like

there are a lot more subcategories, I will focus only on the main ones. Otherwise, I could talk

about it forever).

Passionate, bold, magnetic, and confident with a bit of a femme fatale vibe would be the first category. Think about Marilyn Monroe’s and Elizabeth Taylor’s styles. Their style usually

includes clothing that emphasizes a specific body part, for example, an open neckline, open

shoulder, an open back of the dress, or a split on a skirt or a dress. The whole vibe of this style is making a bold emphasis on something but also making it in a passionate way. Maybe wearing something red, experimenting with lacing, bows, and draperies. As of recently, Emma Chamberlain’s style has been a perfect example of this category. A bit of lace, boldness,

silhouette, emphasis on a specific body part, lacing, bows, and draperies.

The second category would be the one that involves confidence, boldness, sassiness, bravery, and ambition. I would describe it as a bossy, avant-garde style with a mix of a strong woman vibe. The clothes that carry the vibe of roughness and strength. For example, anything with leather, various zippers, bombers, cargo pants, tops, jackets, any belts, rough massive jewelry, etc. Simple silhouettes and simplicity in general are also a part of this style. A great example is Rihanna - bold, with a vibe of strength, leather, bombers, belts, cargos, and literally everything.

In general, for Aries venuses, they tend to gravitate to nice accessories that are statement pieces

and a bit elegant. For example, the iconic Bottega Veneta earrings (or its Amazon dupe), massive and unique rings that catch people’s attention instantly, and any chains, bracelets, gloves, glasses, scarves,

and hats with similar vibes. Anything that would show your personality and make you stand out.

Celebrities with Venus in Aries, who you might look at for fashion inspo: Rihanna, Marilyn

Monroe, Shakira, Audrey Hepburn, Melanie Martinez, Tyler, the Creator, Pharell Williams,

Emma Chamberlain, Lisa, Priscilla Presley, Donatella Versace, Sofia Coppola, IU, Lady Gaga,

Jennifer Aniston, Mariah Carey, Milly Bobby Brown, Gigi Hadid, Elizabeth Taylor, Keira

Knightley, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Longoria.

♉️Taurus Venus

When it comes to Taurus venuses, I think about words that are simple, elegant, and aristocratic, for example, Princess Diana. Taurus Venus it's all about simple shapes, pastel colors, floral patterns, and polka dots. Bows, ruffles, soft fabrics, knitwear, lace, linen, chiffon. Dresses, skirts, blouses, cute small accessories, flowers. One of the best ways to understand this style is to look at Lana del Rey. You can just

look at the pictures of her and you will feel the vibe of simple but really beautiful clothes. On

stage, Lana is seen more as a magical flowery woman, then in real life, she always looks cozy

and comfortable; both are very true to her Taurean style.

At the same time, Taurus in Venus style can also be about complex and non-standard forms. It

unfolds in something more creative: different colors, materials, unusual accessories, but also

within the limits of elegance. There are honestly not that many celebrities with such placement in

their charts, but Ariana Grande, with her maximalist yet very girly dresses, and Grimes, with her elegant but highly unusual dresses, both are great illustrations of creativity within Taurus Venus.

Celebrities with Venus in Taurus, who you might look at for fashion inspo: Lana Del Rey, Ariana

Grande, Princess Diana, Kanye West, Melania Trump, Grimes, Fergie, Iggy Azalea, Lil Nas X,

Linda Evangelista, Jessica Alba, Liv Tyler, Troye Sivan, Amber Heard, Johnny Depp, Prince.

♊️Gemini Venus

Gemini Venus is literally an example of “the clean girl aesthetic,” and I am not surprised since so

many Top Models and ex-Victoria’s Secret angels have this placement in their chart - Naomi

Campbell, Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr, Heidi Clum.

This Venus is all about simplicity, liberation, plainness, and lightness. When it comes to

clothes, people pay a lot more attention to the neatness, softness, and cleanliness of the garments.

Everything must look immaculate, classic, and natural, without rough details. Everything is just

simple and perfect. The garments have semi-fitted cuts, neat cutouts, collars, midi length, and a

minimalistic approach. Accessories are minimalistic as well. You can think about Barbie and

Margot Robbie, who played the roles. Her style as a Barbie and Margot Robbie reflects the

simplicity, lightness, and minimalism of Gemini Venus.

As well as minimalistic clothes, Gemini Venus can also be represented in loose fit, unisex

clothes, while also can be seen in a semi-fitted silhouette, that can be oversize, simple, show

lightness, and be playful. Accessories are usually simple and discreet but beautiful. Naomi

Campbell’s style seems exactly like that for me. There is so much lightness and playfulness in

her outfits.

Kennedy, Mireille Darc, Miranda Kerr, Sofia Vergara, Travis Scott, Jaden Smith, Post Malon

No matter what your Venus sign is and what this mini-guide tells you, the most important thing is

to dress in a way that makes you feel confident and beautiful. You can use your Venus sign as a

guide to explore and experiment with your style, but remember that expressing your unique style

is what makes you - YOU!
