In the week of Oct. 30, supermodel Bella Hadid visited the Arab Fashion Trust initiative, a non-profit initiative sponsored by the authorities in Qatar.
Hadid celebrated her roots by visiting a Palestinan embroidery museum with her father, Mohamed Hadid. The Palestinian exhibition is called "Labour of Love".
Hadid paid homage to her heritage by wrapping with a black-and-white keffiyeh, accessorized with gold jewelry. This was worn with a red pantsuit from Valentino.

“I landed in Doha and went straight to see the amazing new Palestine exhibition,” the super model captioned her post on Instagram. Hadid posted pictures from the museum featuring local designers and artisans.
Hadid also attended the opening of the exhibition “Baghdad – City of the People”, and was joined by fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell, as they took a night tour of the Museum of Islamic Art. Campbell was also promoting the launch of her new global initiative, EMERGE.

For the event, Hadid wore a look from Schiaparelli's ready-to-wear spring/summer 2023 runway.
The all-black skirt suit included a peplum wool cardigan jacket with a deep V-neck, and a matching tulip midi skirt, Harper's Bazaar reported.
To mark the launch, a gala was held as well as a fashion show featuring top models from the globe, including Campbell herself, Hadid, Chanel Ayan, Ikram Abdi Omar, Alpha Dia, Adhel Bol, among others, Emirates Woman reported.
The runway show celebrated Africa and featured more than 20 emerging designers of African descent.
Hadid is known for her activism on social media, and her love for her history and culture.
In 2017, Hadid was amongst the participants in the protests organized by activists in London, against Trump’s decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. This past year, Hadid also spoke out against Israel’s storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and accused Instagram of shadow banning her stories, The Siasat Daily reported.
